AEDMA Hosts Blood Donation Camp at RK Mission to Commemorate Foundation Day

Itanagar || July 18:

As part of the upcoming celebrations of its 13th Foundation Day and 3rd edition of the AEDMA Conclave, the Arunachal Electronic and Digital Media Association (AEDMA) organised a voluntary blood donation camp at RK Mission Hospital, Itanagar. The event was held under the theme “Give Blood, Give Life,” aiming to promote awareness about the importance of blood donation and community service.

The camp received active support from various sectors, including members of the media, the Health Department, youth groups, and other volunteers. A total of more than 20 units of blood were collected during the day-long event.

One of the key highlights of the camp was the participation of the reigning Mr Arunachal 2025, Mr Tao Rakap, who also donated blood. His involvement was well appreciated and served as an inspiration for young people to step forward for social causes.

The medical team from RK Mission Hospital, led by Dr. Aditya Jha, extended full support to the initiative. Dr. Jha also donated blood and encouraged the youth of Arunachal to actively engage in community service. He emphasised that regular blood donation is a simple yet impactful way to help others.

AEDMA President JT Tagam Toko was present at the event and donated blood as well. He thanked all participants, especially the volunteers and the medical staff of RK Mission, for their cooperation.

Members of the Arunachal Rider Bullet Club also participated and donated blood. While known for their shared love of biking, the club regularly supports social welfare activities. Their presence added encouragement and showed how community groups can play a key role in public service.

The blood donation camp was organised as a prelude to the AEDMA Foundation Day celebrations and the 3rd Media Conclave, which will be held on 29th July 2025.
